Privacy and terms of use
In short: no sign-up and no login. The free version shows ads via Google AdMob; device data is used only for ads and analytics.
1Who handles your data?
The app and the website (5masodperceskihivas.hu) are run by the 5 Seconds Challenge team. For privacy questions write to hello@5masodperceskihivas.hu.
2No sign-up, no login
The app needs no account, sign-up or login, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number. Player names, the leaderboard and settings (round, language, passing) are stored only on your device and never sent to us.
3Ads (Google AdMob) and analytics
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. For ads and app usage statistics (analytics) we process certain device data: advertising ID (IDFA / Google Advertising ID), device model, operating system and version, language, approximate location based on IP address, and app usage and crash data.
We use this data only to show and measure ads and to improve the app (analytics), never for anything else, and we never sell it. In the EU we ask for consent to personalised ads on first launch; if you decline, you'll see non-personalised ads. On iPhone you decide about tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can withdraw consent anytime in the app's Settings or your device's privacy settings (e.g. by resetting your advertising ID).
With Premium the game is ad-free.
4Purchases and subscription
Premium is handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details; we only learn whether your subscription is active. Cancel anytime in your store settings, and restore earlier purchases in the app's Settings.
5Notifications
We only send notifications (for example about a new monthly theme) if you allowed them on your device. You can turn them off anytime in system settings.
6The website
The website remembers your chosen language in your browser's local storage. The website shows no ads and uses no tracking cookies. The browser demo sends no data.
7Terms of use (EULA)
Use of the app is governed by the store's standard terms: Apple's Standard End User License Agreement on iPhone and the Google Play Terms of Service on Android. Apple's and Google's privacy policies describe how the stores handle your data.
8Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
